So Tessa and I were at the Columbus Microbrewery Festival at the North Market today, checking out the finest in tasty Columbus microbrews.
Tess has a really great wrap-up over at her blog, but I also wanted to mention it. North Market is a really awesome place to go check out local produce and food merchants, and the Festival gave us a chance to indulge in our beer nerditude. I had my first dark stout, we tried a few pale ales that were very tasty, and even got a taste of Neil House Brewery’s cranberry cider.
We wrapped the day up with some dinner before coming home to relax and sober up a bit over shlocky horror movies on TV and as I sit here writing this, some microwaveable instant Thai . All in all, it was a good day, hopefully being followed up with some schnitzel at the city’s Oktoberfest tomorrow.
