I need to pay some bills, so I’m offering an idea;
If you’re interested in something smaller and cheaper though, you can email me at email@example.com, and throw an idea at me. You can get a $20 pencil and ink sketch on a 5 1/4 x 8 1/4 piece of art paper. It’s a little bigger than a sketch card but smaller than a full commission sketch/drawing.
It’s Paypal up front at the email address above, get in touch with me with your idea and a mailing address and I’ll knock it out and get it to you as soon as possible. Even if you don’t order a sketch, let your buds know, tell ’em to check out my comics, spread the word. This means a lot to me, so thanks!
On a slightly less depressing track;
An inked version of the super-rough pencil sketch as I work on that newer comic project. Gives you a little bit of a better glimpse and what’s coming.
Since I’ve “gone back to the drawing board” with this comic the premise has slightly changed, although not much. The spirit of it, which is totally influenced by traditional three- to four-panel newspaper cartoon strips. I’ve tried before with Waffles and Salad Days, but this is more serious attempt. Not in a “pitching” sort of way, but format-wise.
I’m excited for this little thing, so we’ll see how it goes.
